This Data Use & Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") describes the approved use cases and prohibited uses for the TerritoryOS platform, related services, and any provider-approved campaign outputs (collectively, the "Services"). This Policy is incorporated by reference into the TerritoryOS Terms of Service.
TerritoryOS is designed for approved business intelligence, marketing workflow, and campaign reporting use cases. Clients may not use TerritoryOS or provider-approved outputs to make eligibility decisions or to target, exclude, or discriminate against individuals based on sensitive traits or protected classes.
Approved Uses
- B2B market intelligence.
- Territory planning.
- Campaign reporting.
- Direct mail workflow coordination where permitted.
- Attribution reporting.
- Aggregated audience analysis.
- Competitive market analysis at an aggregated or territory level.
- Vendor review and compliance workflows.
Prohibited Uses
Clients may not use the Services or any provider-approved outputs for:
- Credit eligibility.
- Housing eligibility.
- Employment eligibility.
- Insurance underwriting.
- Healthcare eligibility.
- Education eligibility.
- Government benefits eligibility.
- Stalking.
- Harassment.
- Individual surveillance.
- Re-identifying individuals where prohibited.
- Targeting sensitive traits or protected classes.
- Discriminatory use of any kind.
- Uploading sensitive personal information without authorization.
- Circumventing consent requirements, applicable privacy law, provider rules, or platform terms.
Provider Rules
Provider-approved campaign outputs are subject to the rules of the applicable third-party data and fulfillment providers. Clients must comply with those rules, including any permitted-purpose, suppression, retention, and re-use restrictions communicated by TerritoryOS or its providers.
Enforcement
TerritoryOS may investigate suspected violations of this Policy and may suspend or terminate access to the Services to address violations or to comply with provider, legal, or regulatory requirements. Clients are responsible for ensuring that their Authorized Users comply with this Policy.
Reporting
Suspected violations of this Policy may be reported to compliance@territoryos.xyz.
